Hot dogs here were pretty good. They had a nice snap. Weren't the largest, but they stacked the chili on pretty nice, so they were good and filling. Chili had a little zing to it and complimented the dogs well. Drink selection was better than most hot dog places. Service was outstanding. Was greeted immediately by 3 nice young ladies who helped us efficiently & in a friendly manor. Will definitely stop back when in the area.

JJ's is the spot! Grew up a few blocks from the Truck in Newark. The hot dogs were always good and reasonably priced. Wash them down with a few Chocolate Cows, now it has to be Yoo-hoo. Fairfield store location is no different. Good customer service, same good food. Personally I really appreciate the decor of the street signs, the aluminum walls to feel like the truck and the view of Branch Brook Park around the window! Make sure have have the Chili-Cheese!! I walked in for lunch yesterday. Have never heard of this place, haven’t even thought to get hot dogs that day but dang I was touched by an angel. I googled food nearby and this location seemed easy to get to and less busy than other lunch spots. I am so glad I ordered onion rings bc I’ll be back solely for those rings.

JJ's is the best in Jersey! I grew up going to the truck in Newark 30 years ago. Nice family business. The Fairfield location is nice and convenient. Highly recommend!
Both my daughter and I loved it. Totally hit the spot. Yoohoo plus crisp hot dog heaven. I had their spicy chili on mine and it was so flavorful with a nice kick. And what a super nice family running the store too!
The best hot dogs! I drive an hr to get here. Always order the same thing, 2 dogs with hot onions and mustard!!! Yumm! They snap! Tons of toppings, whacky and sooo good! Prices are great. Could live on these. Try their sides too. Their coleslaw rocks. And if you ask very nicely, they may sell you their spicy hot onion topping to bring home and use on burgers or whatever you cook. Owner is amazing and funny! We love her!
